ADAM AND EVE
Due to pride most people have lost their ability to take the Creation stories of Genesis seriously, to view them as a part of the fully inspired and inerrant Word of God, and Western Christians seem to have lost an understanding of God creating man first and making him accountable for His creation, creating Eve only afterward to be Adam’s comparable companion and helper. As women put on pants, loosing their femininity, men give up their manhood as Adam did. The curse God gave Eve still continues however: "You will want to control your husband, but he will dominate you." (Genesis 3:16 NET) Women have always wanted to share authority with men to manage family and society, but God has just not equipped them naturally to do so successfully. This leads to two crucial problems, symptomatic of the end of civilizations. Because of “Women’s Liberation” there is an ever increasing level of conflict between husband and wife, causing men to leave their wives and much sexual immorality.
Yes, the world still continues to groan in an upside down position.
Western societies are falling in the same trap as once Sodom and Gomorrah did, culminating in their destruction (Genesis 18:16 – 19:25). Also Judah and Jerusalem developed these same problems some 700-600 years BC, 100 years before the terrible end of that people as a nation. God described Judah and Jerusalem’s demise in Isaiah chapters 1-4: there are no respectable men left anymore, women and insolent children rule the nation, and people shamelessly display their homosexuality: "O My people! Those who lead you cause you to make mistakes and destroy the direction you should go." (Isaiah 3:12).
In the last 200 years we men have increasingly let our women make decisions and do things that God made us men accountable for; we stopped taking God's word seriously or did not know it anymore, and so our women lost knowledge of God's plan for them. Adam already blamed his wife Eve, and God in the process; do we think that we can blame our women when we stand before God? We men were called to sanctify and clean our wives by teaching them God’s Word (Ephesians 5:25- end). When we rebel against our God, He cannot feed us His wisdom, and we end up without understanding, and lost. And now this West wants to teach Africa its destructive ways?
We want to encourage men by showing them what a godly father is like.
