God created men to lead His world, but when in Western cultures they stopped seeking after Him with all their hearts, stopped studying His Word faithfully, and teaching it to wives and children (Ephesians 5:28), they and their wives lost God’s Wisdom that He only gives to those who seek Him earnestly and in humility.  Wisdom is a spiritual, supernatural, gift from God, revealing to our spirit His own heart and knowledge.  It is just as unique as becoming born of the Spirit of God.  Without a reverend and childlike humility our God will just not reveal Himself to us, or become actively involved with us; it cannot lead for Him to a growing intimate relationship that He longs for. People who are not born of the Spirit of God cannot know God, but only hope that He is.  In Jeremiah 29:11-14 our God and Father invites us however so very clearly: “The Lord says: ’I know what plans I have for you, plans  of peace, not of harm, to give you a good future and hope.  When the time comes that you cry out to Me and pray, I will listen, and when you seek Me, I will make you find Me, if you seek Me with all your heart; I will make you find Me’.”

We are triune, with a physical body, a soul and a spiritual body.  Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:42-45: “The body is sown in corruption, it is raised incorruptable.  It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory.  It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.  It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.  There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.” And in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Paul writes: “May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We cannot perceive much of our nature, especially our spiritual nature, until God shows it to us.  See here the huge problem in the world.  Without understanding man’s spiritual body, wounded people cannot really be treated and helped.  Wounds occur when rejection and any form of abuse come our way and we do not forgive and keep on loving the people who hurt us; such wounds are in our spirit, not in our physical body unless the abuse includes physical violence.

Counselors are not taught much about the spirit anymore because governments will not accredit schools that teach it; that is where persecution of Christianity began.  Counselors can only help people at the soul level, the level of the will; they may see some changes, but behaviors cannot be stopped that way. There is a spiritual law that we will do what we bitterly judge others for.  Jesus said in Matthew 7:2: “For with what judgment you judge others, you will be judged.” Paul wrote it a little easier to understand in Romans 2:1: “In whatever you judge another you condemn yourself because you who judge do the same things.”   This is why so many prisoners go repeatedly back to prison. Specific wounds in the spirit body must be cleaned, closed, balmed and bandaged to heal, just like wounds in a physical body, to stop a related bad behavior; it is the work of God’s Spirit in us.  If we ask our heavenly Father to show us the wounds of our heart, we can begin to forgive those who hurt us in our past, and become free of related repeat bad conduct.  Reading Jeremiah 8:21-22: “Because  of the hurt of the daughter of my people I am hurt, I am mourning; astonishment has taken hold of me.  Is there no balm in Gilead, is there no physician there?  Why then is there no recovery for the health of the daughter of my people?”

See here the reason why few churches preach sanctification anymore, cleaning of our hearts; it makes no sense without knowledge of the functioning of the spirit.
